Deciding on a target audience

I think that it would be suitable to have the target audience as my age group(16-18). This is because I will feel more comfortable in establishing and developing a music video and ancillary tasks for people that I can relate to. It will ensure that I meet the criteria of music videos that people of my age range enjoy. However, I will have to carefully select some people to hand my quesitonnaire out to as the answers made by people who enjoy the punk rock genre will differ to people that favourite the mainstream genre. When I later carry out my questionnaire,  I will ask all ages of people above the age of  11 as I think it’ll allow me to broaden my ideas and decisions.
