This second video that we watched in class was different in many ways to the first. The video is entirely CGI and computer generated. As the music genre is different to the first, you can see how the video itself is different, due to a different target audience. The film is entirely one scene of a baby growing in a mother’s womb. There are effective shots of the camera unfocused on an element of the picture and it then focuses, or vice versa.
Looking in to the lyrics I can see that it links in with the actions of the scene. ‘Love’ is spoken of a lot in the lyrics which relates to the love that a mother has for her baby, as shown in the video. In addition to this, ‘breath’ is repeated a lot which also links in with the shots when the baby is shown.
For the camera shots themselves, they are mainly based on close ups as it is an intimate space emphasising the lyrics. Also, the editing has allowed the look of the baby lip syncing the lyrics.
