Analysing music videos continued

In this final video, the style is somewhat different to the others that I have previously looked at.  It is significant that I look at these different styles to see the different effects that they have on the audience.
The video starts off with many edits of the camera getting closer to the character of the scene.  There is also the use of point of view shots where the camera cuts to look at what the character in the video is looking at.
The general mise en scene is dark in the hotel whilst the character wears a suit, fitting in with his surroundings.  This contrasts to the style of music that is playing. The action in the video is very much linked with the song itself.  As the song picks up tempo, the character gets up from the chair and starts to dance.  It is clever how the filming has been timed that as there is a loud musical instrument, for example the beat of a drum, the character jolts and moves or starts a different type of dancing.  In addition to this, the camera angles and editing changes.
