In our first lesson for media we went through an overview of the course for the year. I looked at all of the briefs for the coursework and started to get an idea of what I wanted to do. The most popular briefs were to create either a music video or film trailer with two ancillary tasks for each.
In one class we started to watch different genres of music videos to establish the conventions. We did the same for short film trailers. After that, we started to look at previous A2 Media coursework and analysed different things about them. I wrote down what was good and bad and specific criteria of what I should include in both my video and written coursework.
